from each of the three national credit bureaus once a year for free; in
certain states the number of free reports is greater than one (1) please
check with your state Attorney Generals office for state details. If you
have internet access you can go to to view
and download your credit reports from Experian, Equifax, and Trans
Union. You can also learn more about your free reports at the Federal
Trade Commission’s website and the Consumer Financial Protection
Bureau’s website.
